| Have you ever been in love? Have you ever experienced the feeling that makes your knees buckle? Have you ever felt like your heart was about to explode from the happiness? Has anyone ever made you feel special, like you are the best thing that anyone could ask for?
Love is the greatest feeling a person can have. Love is like a river. Sometimes it flows slowly, and sometimes the strength of it carries you away. The wave of love swallows you whole, you are drowning in it, and it’s hard to breathe.
In our lives we can come across many times when we love. But to experience true love is like being able to step on a cloud. Even though it feels impossible, we still go for it. Love is like wind, even when we can’t see or touch it, we can feel it. And the feeling is truly wonderful!
A simple touch can make a shiver run through you. Everyday compliments can make your head spin when given to you by your beloved. You feel so helpless when you see a tear slip from their eye. You feel like you will do anything to keep them happy, to make them smile all their life. Everything around you feels gloomy when the love of your life is not with you, but when they are, you know you will treasure every single second in your heart.
In this world there is nothing better than to be in the arms of love. You feel protected, needed, adored, and beautiful. All the things that mattered to you the most, they all make a way when love comes in. It becomes number one priority; it is the first and most important thing to you. You wake up with the thoughts about it, throughout the day it never leaves your mind, and it still lingers in your head when you drift off to sleep at night.
Love is the name that is always on your lips. Love is the smile that spreads across your face when you think about it. Love is the though of them that never leaves you no matter where you are. Love is the tear that escapes your eyes when you miss them. Love is the ache you feel when they are far away. Love is the bubbly feeling you get when you know you are about to hold that special someone. Love is two hearts beating together with the same rhythm.
People might say that love is pain. But how can true love bring hurt when it gives you wings to fly? It will endure anything, even the things that will try to hurt it. Love only hurts when you lose it. It gives you pain because you realize then that it wasn’t love. Why would someone who loves you make you cry? Why would they want you to hurt and suffer?
Loving is sharing everything together, good and bad. It’s when you want to take away their tears and give them your happiness instead. When you know you can’t live even a day without hearing their voice. It’s being able to finish each others thoughts, being able to communicate with them without saying anything, even when far away.
Love brings two different people together. It blends them together, makes them one. It makes them think alike, makes them want the same things, gives them the same feelings, and makes them share those feelings. Love heals the wounded heart, it gives hope. Never gives up on you and holds your hand through everything in life.
Love is something to be cherished and to be thankful for. Don’t take it for granted, because it came to you for a reason. Added (2009-01-14, 1:04 Am)
